About Jack’s Place
Jack’s Place is named after my little boy Jack who is the life and soul of the party and we both hope Jack’s Place will be the life and Soul of your holiday!
Jack’s Place is a beautiful lodge next to a stream at Bockenfield Country Park and comes complete with a hot tub.
Jack’s Place sleeps 6 guests, has recently been refurbished to the highest standard inside and out, with 3 bedrooms all with fitted wardrobes.
The living space is large and bright with an open plan kitchen and double doors leading to a generous decking area with outdoor table, chairs and parasol ideal for alfresco dinning and if you want some ambient music there is free WiFi and a Smart TV to stream all your favourite TV shows.
The kitchen has lots of pots and pans and benefits from a gas oven and hob and a combination microwave oven and grill just in case your feeding a large family.
Surrounding Area
The lodge sits on a lovely generous plot and has views of a lovely little stream that runs through the park. It is within walking distance from Northumberland Zoo for the kids, Burgham Park for a spot of golf, Bywell shooting range and Eshott airfield for a pleasure flight around Northumberland.
Jacks Place is close to Longhorsley if you fancy a spot of Sunday lunch at the Shoulder of Mutton or Felton village if you prefer a pint in the Northumberland Arms or a Cream Tea in the renowned Running Fox. The coastal town of Amble and historic Walkworth is all but a stone throw away and if you fancy venturing a little further up the coast why not try Alnwick with the Harry Potter castle and walled gardens or the breath-taking Holy Island.
